A master’s thesis was discussed at the Department of Arabic Language, College of Education for Humanities at University of Tikrit on Sunday (March 8, 2026). The thesis, submitted by the student Iman Salama Mohammed Lateef, was entitled:
“Differences in Grammatical Narrations and Their Impact on Meaning Interpretation in the Diwan of Al-Hutay’ah.”
The thesis examines the variations found in grammatical narrations in the poetry of Al‑Hutay'ah and explores how these differences influence the interpretation and direction of meaning within his poetic texts. The study highlights the relationship between grammatical structure and semantic interpretation in classical Arabic poetry, demonstrating how changes in grammatical narration can lead to variations in meaning and rhetorical expression.
