The Division of Media and Government Communication serves as the reflective mirror of all activities taking place within the College of Education for Humanities. The division is responsible for documenting and editing press releases covering all academic and extracurricular events of the college, publishing them on the official website and social media platforms, and promoting the mission, vision, and objectives of the college. Moreover, it plays a key role in establishing and strengthening communication bridges with Iraqi universities and peer colleges.

Duties of the Division of Media and Government Communication


Duties and Responsibilities of the Division of Media and Government Communication

  1. Introducing the role, mission, and objectives of the College, and working to build a positive image among internal and external audiences.

  2. Covering various activities and events, such as conferences, symposia, seminars, and sports festivals.

  3. Publishing all news and announcements related to the College, and facilitating the work of journalists and media representatives in obtaining accurate information.

  4. Engaging with the university community and meeting its needs for accurate information and statistical data.

  5. Managing the College’s official website and social media platforms.

  6. Communicating with media outlets to disseminate the College’s message, highlight its community services, and organize press meetings and conferences for its officials.

  7. Providing media documentation of all College activities.

  8. Publishing electronic lectures of all faculty members.

  9. Documenting and disseminating the academic and professional activities of faculty members inside and outside the University.

  10. Documenting the scientific defenses of postgraduate students (Ph.D. and M.A.).

  11. Documenting extracurricular activities and volunteer campaigns organized by students.

  12. Supporting and covering the College and its departments in the implementation of events, conferences, and academic activities.

  13. Organizing activities, events, and social occasions.

  14. Preparing College news and academic content for publication on the official website.

  15. Monitoring, archiving, and documenting news published about the College in external media.

  16. Preparing and coordinating general events and symposia approved by the College and supervising their implementation.
