Duties of the Studies, Planning, and Follow-Up Division
The Studies, Planning, and Follow-Up Division reports directly to the Dean, the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, and the Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs. It is also linked to the Studies and Planning Department at the University Presidency. This division is considered one of the most important units in the college due to the significant services it provides to faculty members and students. Its main duties include:

Preparing the annual plan for (seminars, workshops, training courses, conferences, and all student activities) for the entire academic year, according to a schedule that includes the department, type of activity, title of activity, date of implementation, and venue (in-person or online).

Preparing and organizing brochures for the activities, notifying the lecturers involved, and ensuring their readiness to present and contribute to the proposed ideas of the activities.

Preparing the university statistical data during January or February of each year. This includes tables for undergraduate and postgraduate studies, faculty members, staff, buildings, classrooms, laboratories, and everything related to the college’s components. After filling out the forms, they are stamped by the division and approved by the Dean of the College.

Preparing the annual statistical report tables at the end of the academic year (July or August). This includes around 22 detailed tables covering undergraduate and postgraduate studies, faculty and staff data, completed and planned research projects, students’ sports and artistic activities, as well as conferences, seminars, and other events.

Responding to the quarterly activity tables every three months. These include several categories, such as administrative, legal, scientific, student-related, engineering, and technical activities.

Preparing the newly introduced monthly governmental program, which documents the college’s activities at the beginning of each month.

Responding periodically to official letters regarding statistics issued by the Studies and Planning Department at the University Presidency.

Updating the electronic database through the online statistical system, which includes all permanent staff, contract-based employees, and daily-wage workers.

Completing graduate student data through the newly introduced online portal, which will be adopted annually.

Completing the operational reality reports required by the Ministry of Planning for all permanent faculty and staff members.
