Duties of the Electronic Administration Unit (Academic Translation):

Driven by the College’s commitment to developing the educational process, curricula, and applying quality standards for programs and academic accreditation to improve its outputs, this unit aims to enhance the use of e-learning in teaching. It leverages significant advancements in information technology and modern communication mechanisms to improve educational methods, giving rise to comprehensive learning based on these technologies, known as e-learning. This approach represents a modern method in education and training, helping learners study at the time and place suitable for them through interactive content using multimedia—audio, video, graphics, search tools, electronic libraries, and internet portals—whether remotely or in the classroom.

The primary goal is to use technology in all its forms to deliver knowledge to learners in the shortest time, with the least effort, and maximum benefit, thereby achieving effective learning outcomes. E-learning and distance education constitute an essential pillar of both university education and continuing education.

Through establishing this unit, the College aims to create a qualitative shift in education, transforming from a traditional institution relying on conventional teaching methods to a modern, technology-driven college striving for excellence in teaching methods, technology integration, and achieving a high level of quality to support ongoing development and modernization consistent with the College’s standards and history.

This unit is responsible for all aspects of e-learning and distance education within the College, including:

• Providing electronic learning resources and global e-learning systems.

• Offering necessary training on these systems.

• Managing and supervising full technical support for distance learning programs.

• Implementing interactive synchronous learning systems to enable direct interaction between students and instructors.

• Providing software for preparing and developing educational materials.

• Utilizing advanced systems for recording lectures, making them accessible to students for streaming or review anytime and anywhere via the internet.

The unit’s overarching aim is to establish a fully integrated e-learning environment to serve the College’s students effectively.
