Duties of the Legal Affairs Department

Duties of the Legal Affairs Department:

  • Issuing administrative orders for investigative and auditing committees.

  • Issuing administrative orders for other committees within the college.

  • Drafting and typing the minutes of auditing and investigative committees, as well as the Student Discipline Committee.

  • Issuing disciplinary actions for employees and faculty members in accordance with the State and Public Sector Employee Discipline Law No. 14 of 1991 (as amended).

  • Issuing disciplinary actions for students in violation of regulations in accordance with the Student Discipline Instructions No. 160 of 2007.

  • Preparing and certifying undertakings for university staff under permanent appointments, ministerial contracts, and temporary wages.

  • Preparing and certifying undertakings for newly admitted students of both morning and evening studies, as well as students of other academic stages.

  • Certifying undertakings for postgraduate applicants.

  • Certifying undertakings for faculty members’ scientific expertise forms.

  • Issuing and certifying undertakings related to faculty members’ academic promotions.

  • Certifying undertakings for nomination to obtain land plots for employees of state institutions.

  • Certifying undertakings for ID badge applications granting access to the university for faculty members, employees, and students.

  • Certifying the accountability and fairness forms for postgraduate students.

  • Preparing and circulating official letters and notifications to departments, divisions, and units.

  • Managing official correspondence and submitting committee minutes to the University Presidency and its departments.

  • Issuing ID cards for all students, including postgraduate and undergraduate students of both morning and evening studies.

  • Preparing and certifying service addition forms for staff members of the college
