A doctoral dissertation entitled “Tabyīn al-Hidāyah wa Tawḍīḥ al-Bidāyah by Sayyid Ḥāfiẓ Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn al-Shaykh Muṣṭafā al-Kaddūsī (d. 1253 AH): From the Chapter ‘On the Method of Severance and Its Establishment’ to the Book al-Mafqūd: A Study, Critical Edition, and Commentary” was discussed at the College of Education for Human Sciences, Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education, on Sunday, 1 April 2026, by the doctoral candidate Bahiya Idris Mustafa.

The dissertation focuses on the study, critical editing, and scholarly commentary of a selected section of the manuscript attributed to al-Kaddūsī, shedding light on its methodological, juristic, and textual dimensions, and contributing to the preservation and verification of Islamic scholarly heritage.
