A master’s thesis entitled “Multimodal Discourse Analysis of Exaggeration in Commercial Advertisements” was discussed at the College of Education for Human Sciences, Department of English, on Tuesday, 30 December 2025, by the graduate student Khawla Hashim Mohammed.
The thesis examined exaggeration in commercial advertisements through a multimodal discourse analysis approach, highlighting the interaction between linguistic and visual modes in shaping persuasive advertising messages.
