Master’s Thesis at the College of Education for Humanities Discusses “A Multimodal Analysis of English Online Donation Campaigns”

A Master’s thesis was discussed at the Department of English Language, College of Education for Humanities, on Tuesday (May 19, 2026), submitted by the student Alaa Farouq Qader Al-Bayati, entitled “A Multimodal Analysis of English Online Donation Campaigns.”

The study aims to explore how audiences are influenced through the interaction between visual and textual elements in online donation campaigns. To achieve this objective, the researcher adopted a multimodal discourse analysis approach utilizing both qualitative and quantitative methods. The study sample consisted of sixteen images selected from four categories: poverty, blood donation, natural disasters, and war-related donation campaigns.
