A PhD dissertation was discussed at the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, College of Education for Humanities, on Tuesday (May 19, 2026), submitted by the candidate Fathi Hussein Mohammed Farhan Al-Obaidi, entitled “Al-Attar’s Critical Evaluations (d. 1250 AH) in His Commentary on Al-Mahalli’s Jam‘ al-Jawami‘ Between Al-Kawrani (d. 893 AH) in his book Al-Durar Al-Lawami‘ Sharh Jam‘ al-Jawami‘ and Al-‘Abbadi (d. 994 AH) in his commentary Al-Ayat Al-Bayyinat: An Analytical Study.”
