Dr. Imad Khalaf Hammoud Ali serves as a faculty member in the Department of Arabic Language (morning and evening studies). His academic expertise centers on phonetics, with a focus on the theoretical and applied dimensions of speech sounds in the Arabic language. His teaching and research explore the linguistic foundations of phonetics, tracing its development historically and examining its contemporary scientific frameworks.
Dr. Ali’s academic work includes an in-depth study of the mechanisms of sound production, articulation points, distinctive features of Arabic phonemes, and the role of the speech organs in generating linguistic sounds. His specialization further extends to Arabic lexicography, exploring its origins, evolution, and major lexicographical schools across history.
