Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Prof. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and in the presence of the Vice President for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Hassan Hussein Ibrahim, the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Imad Hameed Ahmed, and the members of the College Council, the new building of the College of Education for Humanities was inaugurated today, Wednesday (December 3, 2025).
The new building includes a fully equipped hall designated for scientific conferences and thesis defenses, in addition to several modern lecture halls furnished with the latest smart boards.
The inauguration of this building comes as part of the College’s commitment to developing the educational environment and providing modern infrastructure that meets students’ needs and contributes to enhancing the quality of the academic process, in line with the University’s plans for modernization and academic and service advancement.
During the opening ceremony, the Vice President for Scientific Affairs commended the efforts exerted to complete this vital project, affirming that the new building represents an important addition to the College and will contribute to providing an advanced educational environment. In turn, the Dean of the College, Prof. Imad Hameed Ahmed, praised the continuous support and follow-up of the University Presidency for the College’s projects, as well as the significant efforts made by the office of the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Prof. Adil Saleh Alawi, noting that this step will enhance the College’s capacity to accommodate the increasing number of students and improve the quality of academic outcomes.
