On Tuesday (May 12, 2026), the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, accompanied by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Professor Dr. Adel Salih Alawi, visited the College of Petroleum Processes Engineering. He was received by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdullah.
During the visit, congratulations and best wishes were extended to Dr. Ghassan Hamid on the occasion of his academic promotion to the rank of Professor. The meeting also included discussions on strengthening academic cooperation between the two colleges, in addition to addressing a number of academic and administrative matters. Furthermore, the participants reviewed future plans aimed at enhancing the university environment, serving students, and opening avenues for joint collaboration in organizing conferences, scientific seminars, and workshops.
This visit reflects the commitment of the College of Education for Humanities to fostering collaborative relationships with other colleges within the university, in support of the academic and scientific advancement witnessed at the University of Tikrit.
