Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the College held a celebration on Thursday, April 9, 2026, on the occasion of University Day and the Year of Accreditation, under the slogan “A Radiance Toward Academic Excellence,” at Al-Jahiz Hall.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by the Iraqi National Anthem, and the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha in tribute to the souls of Iraq’s martyrs. This was followed by the University Anthem, in an atmosphere marked by pride and a strong sense of institutional belonging.
On this occasion, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, delivered a speech in which he praised the significant efforts exerted by the academic and administrative staff, which culminated in the College obtaining academic accreditation. He emphasized that this achievement represents an important step toward enhancing the quality of education and advancing academic standards.
Additionally, the Head of the Quality Assurance Division at the College, Professor Dr. Fahd Shalash Khalaf, delivered a speech in which he reviewed the key stages of work on the accreditation file, the challenges encountered throughout the process, and the future plans aimed at consolidating quality standards and institutional accreditation.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the heads and members of the accreditation committees at the College were honored in recognition of their outstanding efforts and effective contributions to achieving this academic accomplishment.
