Under the patronage of the President of University of Tikrit, Prof. Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the College organized an awareness campaign on the occasion of International Women's Day (March 8). The initiative comes as part of the College’s commitment to promoting community awareness of the importance of women’s role and status in society.
The campaign included a range of awareness and educational activities that highlighted women’s rights and their active role in building society, in addition to showcasing their achievements in various scientific, cultural, and social fields.
The campaign also aimed to promote a culture of respect for women and appreciation of their contributions, while emphasizing the importance of supporting and empowering them in different areas of life. Such initiatives contribute to achieving sustainable development and building a more aware and progressive society.
