The Department of History at the College of Education for Humanities Organizes a Scientific Visit to the College Library

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the faculty members of the Department of History organized a scientific visit for fourth-year students to the college library on Tuesday, 23 December 2025.

The visit included an introductory overview of the nature of the library’s work, the books and academic resources it houses, as well as an explanation of the book borrowing system and the services provided to students and researchers. The visit also aimed to familiarize students with the types of available sources and effective methods of searching for and utilizing them in their academic studies and research.

During the visit, students toured the library and received a comprehensive explanation of its sections, the cataloguing system, and the available research methods, delivered by the Librarian, Lecturer Dr. Asaad Hamoud. In addition, students were introduced to the section dedicated to theses and academic research, which provides valuable scholarly resources for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

This visit comes within the Department of History’s commitment to enhancing the practical aspect of students’ education and developing their skills in using academic libraries and conducting scientific research.
