As part of the applied scientific activities aimed at enhancing students’ competencies, the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education at the University of Tikrit / College of Education for Human Sciences organized a field visit to the University Central Printing Press under the supervision of a number of faculty members. The visit aimed to familiarize students with the services provided by the printing press in support of the educational and research process.
During the visit, students were introduced to modern printing mechanisms, as well as the stages involved in designing and binding books and academic theses. They also learned about the significant role of the printing press in supporting the scholarly output of the university’s faculty members and students.
This activity comes within the College’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the practical aspect of students’ education and to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby contributing to the development of their scientific and technical skills.
