Under the patronage of the President of the University of Tikrit, Prof. Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Prof. Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Department of Geography, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education, held an awareness symposium entitled “The Geography of Electoral Representation and Its Role in Iraqi National Security and Social Peace” on Sunday, October 12, 2025.
The symposium, delivered by Prof. Dr. Naseef Jassim Aswad, Asst. Prof. Dr. Haneen Nizar Muslih, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Manar Mohammed Ibrahim, aimed to provide an insightful understanding of the geography of electoral representation in Salah al-Din Governorate and to highlight its influence on national security and social peace.
The Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Prof. Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, commended the efforts of the faculty members of the Department of Geography for organizing such valuable and awareness-oriented events, wishing them continued success and dedication in serving the College and our beloved University.
