Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Prof. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Department of Quranic Studies and Islamic Education at our college organized an awareness seminar today, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, entitled:
“Educational Guidance in Light of Islamic Values: Its Principles, Approaches, and Contribution to Developing Students’ Social Values.”
The seminar aimed to clarify the concept of Islamic educational guidance, explain its foundational Sharia principles, highlight the pedagogical principles and approaches adopted in guidance from an Islamic perspective, and enhance understanding of the role of guidance in developing students’ social values, including cooperation, respect, responsibility, and discipline.
The Dean of the College, Prof. Imad Hamid Ahmed, highly appreciated the efforts of the faculty members of the Department of Quranic Studies in organizing such fruitful awareness seminars, wishing them continued success and dedication in service of our college and beloved university.
