Department of Qur’anic Sciences at the College of Education for Human Sciences Organizes an Academic Visit to the Central Library

Under the guidance of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the faculty members of the Department of Qur’anic Sciences and Islamic Education organized an academic visit on Monday, 5 January 2026, for a number of the department’s students to the Central Library.

The visit included an introductory briefing on the nature of the library’s work, the books and academic resources it houses, as well as an explanation of the book borrowing system and the services provided to students and researchers. The visit also aimed to familiarize students with the types of available sources and effective methods of searching for and utilizing them in their academic studies and scientific research.

During the visit, students conducted an extensive tour of the library’s various sections, where they received detailed explanations about its components, cataloguing system, and available research tools. They also reviewed the section dedicated to theses and academic research, which offers valuable scientific resources for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.

This visit comes as part of the department’s commitment to strengthening the practical dimension of students’ education and developing their skills in the use of academic libraries and scientific research methods.
