Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Library Division launched an awareness and guidance campaign titled “Read Week” on Sunday, November 23, 2025. The initiative aims to promote a culture of reading among undergraduate students and encourage them to benefit from the diverse knowledge resources available in the college library.
The campaign seeks to enrich students with valuable books and information housed within the library, introduce them to borrowing procedures, and guide them on how to search for sources and utilize them to enhance their academic and research skills. It also includes instruction on catalog searching, presentations of important books across various disciplines, explanations of the library’s lending systems, and directing students to key resources that support their academic journey.
This initiative reflects the College’s commitment to fostering reading awareness among its students, thereby contributing to strengthening the educational environment and raising the level of culture and knowledge within the university community.
The College of Education for Humanities, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, extends its appreciation to the Library Division, headed by Asst. Prof. Dr. Asaad Hamoud Abdullah, for their efforts in organizing such meaningful awareness campaigns. The College wishes all students continued success in their academic pursuits.
