Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Prof. Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the College organized an extensive awareness campaign on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, to highlight the dangers of drug abuse under the slogan “Your Decision Shapes Your Future.” This initiative comes as part of the College’s efforts to promote health and behavioral awareness among students.
The campaign included the distribution of educational posters designed by Lecturer Dr. Lubna Naji, under the supervision of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Muthanna Misha’an Khalaf, and the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Rasheed Lateef Ibrahim. The posters featured informative messages outlining the harmful effects of drugs on an individual’s health, behavior, and future, while emphasizing the vital role of educational institutions in protecting youth from falling into this dangerous scourge.
This campaign is part of a series of initiatives adopted by the College in alignment with national efforts aimed at combating narcotics and reducing their spread, reflecting the College’s commitment to fulfilling its educational and societal mission in safeguarding students and fostering a conscious and responsible generation.
