Under the patronage of the President of Tikrit University, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raoof, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Imad Hamid Ahmed, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, in cooperation with the Continuing Education Center, is organizing a scientific course entitled “Observation and Practice and Their Role in Developing the Skills of Fourth-Year Students” for the period 11–12 February 2026.
The course aims to enhance the practical aspects of fourth-year students’ preparation and to develop their professional and educational competencies by linking theoretical knowledge with actual field practice. It also seeks to train students in effective classroom observation mechanisms and practical application methods, thereby ensuring comprehensive academic and professional preparation that qualifies them to engage efficiently and competently in the labor market.
Furthermore, the course endeavors to equip students with the ability to analyze educational situations, employ modern teaching strategies, and develop skills in planning, implementation, and evaluation, in alignment with quality assurance standards and academic accreditation requirements.
This course is part of a series of scientific activities organized by the College of Education for Humanities in support of the academic process and in reinforcement of the University’s role in serving the community and building individuals upon sound scientific and ethical foundations.
