In line with the principle of academic cooperation between the colleges of Tikrit University and its Presidency, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Humanities organized a scientific visit on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, for its students to the Information Technology Center at Tikrit University, accompanied by a number of faculty members.
The visit aimed to familiarize students with information systems, computer operations, and electronic platforms, as well as to introduce them to the Center’s role in supporting both academic and administrative processes. It also highlighted the various technical services provided by the Center and ways in which these services can be effectively utilized.
The program included an introductory scientific lecture delivered by Assistant Lecturer Laith Rafi‘, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the Center’s functions, the adopted information systems, and the mechanisms for using electronic platforms and their significance in supporting the educational process.
Such activities form part of the College’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the practical dimension of students’ learning and to bridge theoretical knowledge with practical application, thereby contributing to the development of their academic and technical competencies.
