Under the patronage of the President of the University of Tikrit, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Emad Hamid Ahmed, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at our college, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center, held a scientific seminar entitled “Awareness: The Weapon of the Individual and Society” today, Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
The seminar aimed to enhance the intellectual and social awareness of individuals, emphasizing their pivotal role in building society and protecting it from negative phenomena. It also highlighted the importance of awareness in confronting intellectual and behavioral challenges and in promoting a culture of individual and collective responsibility, thereby contributing to the consolidation of positive values and fostering a sense of community belonging.
This seminar is part of a series of scientific and cultural activities that the College of Education for Human Sciences regularly organizes, reflecting its academic and societal role in disseminating knowledge and raising awareness among university students and the wider community.
