Under the patronage of the President of the University of Tikrit, Professor Dr. Waad Mahmoud Raouf, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Human Sciences, Professor Dr. Emad Hamid Ahmed, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the college, in collaboration with the Department of Geography and the Continuing Education Center at the University Presidency, held an awareness seminar entitled “University Student Ethics: Reality and Aspirations” today, Tuesday, January 20, 2026.
The seminar aimed to reinforce ethical and behavioral values among university students and to highlight the importance of adhering to academic standards and proper conduct within the university environment, thereby contributing to the development of conscious and responsible student personalities. It also sought to assess the current state of student behavior, discuss the main challenges faced by students, and identify strategies to enhance university ethics, ultimately achieving the aspirational model that aligns with educational and social values and strengthens the university’s position and its scientific and humanitarian mission.
